We tried to get someone to stop and take our picture together, but they looked at us like we were crazy, I can't say that they were wrong... I'm proud of my wife. She rode hard and made it!
This is the bridge crossing into Canada. This it the Pigeon River. After riding this far, it is way more beautiful than a pigeon... just sayin'.
This is our beloved state.... on our way back from Canada. Not only did we drive out, but we drove back quite a ways as well.
This is Mt Josephine... we conquered it like we were pros.
This is the "coast" as you go toward the border. It is more beautiful than this picture.
There is a picture in my mind of what peace looks like. This is it. This picture also does not do it justice. When you look down from Mt. Josephine you see this, and for me at least, it blew my mind.
Crossing the peak of Mt. Josephine.
We got tired. The ditch grass was soft, kinda prickly too.
My dad picked us up in Grand Marais. This is such a beautiful community. It was great to see after 111 miles!
And just like that we were done. My dad picked us up from Dairy Queen and we drove into the night toward home. We raised $8500 for the teachers at the Center in Santiago, Dominican Republic. God is good. He is so kind and gracious. You all have been so kind and gracious. Thank you for following our journey and supporting this cause. I wish you all could see the impact you have had. It undoubtedly is huge.
